Pros: You can't find a better sounding small amp on the market. Cons: It is more expensive than many other more powerful amps.
FENDER 65 DELUXE REVERB COMBO AMPLIFIER Throughout my playing career, I have owned about two dozen different amps, including various Marshalls, Gibsons, Fenders, Electroharmonics, Ampegs, etc. If I had to choose my favorite it would have to ...
Pros: Lightweight, powerful, great tone, simple Cons: No midrange control, no bright switch
I'm one who is convinced that good tone will inspire better playing. This amp is what convinced me. I had previously owned a Hod Rod Deluxe, thinking I couldn't do without channel switching. Once I played through the Deluxe Reverb Reissue, all that ...
The '65 Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue is a 22 Watt, all-tube combo amp with a single 12" ceramic Jensen speaker. It has two channels, "normal" and "vibrato" with two inputs apiece, and a footswitch to control the reverb and the vibrato. The reverb is ...
Pros: Custom shop vintage tone and quality in an affordable and humble product A MUST OWN. Cons: Circuit Board instead of hand wiring but still amazing value, cant find any problems with this amp.
This is one of the best reproductions or copies of a vintage amp I have owned and played. I have a custom shop built Fender Vibroking as well as a variety of classic vintage fender amps. This amp is reliable, sturdy and in almost every way identical to...
65 Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp by j6fingerpicker ,Feb 21 '05
Pros: A TEN in all catagories. Cons: None
I bought the Deluxe Reverb Amp for use with my J6 Wes Montgomery Washburn guitar. This Amp has an absolutely beautiful sound that complements the J6 Washburn perfectly.
Adding about "3" from the Reverb really gives a boost to an already incredible sound. This Amp has the sweetest tones with astounding bass and incredible highs that makes fingerpicking the J6 an absolute delight. I cannot imagine an amp with better sound for Merle Travis and Chet Atkins type picking. On a scale of one to ten, I would rate the Deluxe Reverb Amp a ten in all catagories. I highly recommend this amp for serious pickers that love the clean, sweet sounds of the old classic, traditional tunes. This is not a "Rock" Amp. Let the Rockers play whatever they want.
Pros: great vintage sounds when working properly Cons: See above
Great sounding amps but totally unreliable - I have now been through two of these. Both sounded great at first but then there was a noticeable deterioration in sound quality, with the tone becoming very brittle and harsh. Sent one back to the shop and am currently stuck with one that amp techs cannot diagnose the cause of the problem. Be warned
