I now have this bed rail on 2 beds in my home. I like that it can fold down so that the bed can be made easily. It is soft and easy to clean. And my kids abuse the heck out of it. It has yet to disappoint me.

I use this rail in my 2 year olds daybed. It keeps her safe and secure in her big bed. I also use it on my king size bed, since I sleep with my 1 year old. He sometimes sleeps right up against it and it doesn't budge. Both kids like to stand on the bed, put both hands on the rail and shake it as hard as they can. While this is not a safe thing to do and definitely not recommended, it still holds strong.

The only downfall is that is it cannot be used on a toddler bed because it requires a mattress and a boxspring (toddler beds do not have boxsprings)

I bought this bed rail when my oldest daughter (now 5.5)moved into a twin bed. I thought it was the greatest thing until I heard her crying one morning and went into her room to find her stuck between the rail and the mattress in a standing position! She had pushed the rail out just enough to fit between the mattress and rail. I put it away and never used it again!! I felt better putting a "tucked in pillow" next to her. She never fell out of bed. I've had 3 children since her and none of them will use the bed rail, save the money!

Pros: Cheap. I won't feel guilty throwing it away.
Cons: Unsafe. My child fell on his head using this product.

Summary: Avoid this potentially dangerous product.

This bed railing is designed to very easily fold forward to allow your child to be removed from his/her bed. Raising the railing by less than 1 cm is sufficient to free it from its retaining assembly so that it flops forward leaving nothing but empty space barring the edge of the bed. Unfortunately our child loosened his inadvertently and fell out of bed. Other models, made by other companies, sell for the same price but without this obvious fault. Avoid this product and buy something safer.
