Pros: You can get this device for $35-50 US at Costco- Price Club Cons: Too numerous to summarize here!
Don't waste your money on an eBookMan. I recently purchased the top of the line 911 from Costco for only $50 which is only 25 of the advertised price and it still was not worth the money. The eBookMan does not do anything well. The screen is too small...

Pros: Discount price, Big screen, Syncs to Outlook. Cons: Crashes if batteries get too low, Audio functions are weak.
I bought the eBookman 911 for $40 at OfficeMax on closeout. I thought I would use it as an MP3 player, which was a mistake. The eBookman is capable of playing audio files, but it has to convert MP3 files to a proprietary format that takes up about 3 ...

DITTO WHAT THE OTHERS SAID ABOUT THIS
by jmd1960 ,Jan 18 '04
Pros: eatting your budget Cons: way too many to list
You can't put too much stuff on your mmc because the ebm-901
I own crashes BIG TIME FRANKLIN people didn't fully test this product. On January 16th 2004 my entire ebm-901 while I was backuping my ebm totally crashed on me.
I rely on pda's to organize my life I will never buy a
franklin product again or any other company's pda that they don't do extensive testing and market research to gain the opinions from those of us who rely on such systems.
other peeves I have with the ebm- horrible backlight,
battery life is totally horrible(after initial use of fresh batteries the ebm sucks the battery life down REALLY FAST)
this product is not recommended for those of us who rely on
such a system.
