Better Left in a Museum

Pros: Nostalgic piece of climbing hardware
Cons: Unsafe (read article), twists the rope, provides for a sticky belay.

Pros: Great abseil, versatile, easy to use in ugly conditions.
Cons: Twists the rope, can be hard on hands.
