Pros: Very small/compact size. Cons: Software could be more robust.
One of the best scanners that I've ever had.
Very low profile. It's hardly larger than the documents that I scan.
Tired of all your little toys that have their own power supplies? This one doesn't have one! It pulls it's power...

Pros: Cheap, flat, light, ease of use, software package, languages Cons: Installation, customer support

I don't leave home without it!

Pros: No warmup! Good scans - photos and documents. Cons: Needed to upgrade software for XP (that was a year ago).
I've had Mustek, HP, and others, and the N676U Canon makes them all toys in comparison. The size and lack of need for a power supply made me a little leary about the quality of the scans I would get, but this portable scanner has restored my faith in technology. I've had it for over a year and take it to work with me every day! It's been banged around and even sat on! (I don't recommend this). Perfect scans every time, no waiting for warmup! I use it for document storage and photo scanning. Works great for both. If it broke today I'd still think I got a deal. Only problem was that I needed to get updated software for Windows XP (easy download from Canon website), but they probably include that by now.
