Pros: Offers all latest safety features, plush washable cover, thoughtful details Cons: Extremely expensive, large and heavy
Protecting your child from a car crash is something you think about even before you give birth because it’s often one of the most expensive items on your “To Buy” list of baby gear. In reviewing various websites and guides, one name ...
Pros: Safety, Comfort, Convenience Cons: size, the head-rest can block rear view, price
I have a britax boulevard, and absolutely love it. We have used a Britax Wizard, a Sit n Stroll, and now the Boulevard. We have used the Boulevard for about 6 or 7 months now. Britax Boulevard is about the same size as their Marathon, with added ...
Pros: The maximum weight it takes (65 pounds) and it's overall quality and saftey aspects Cons: Price and the weight of the actual seat itself
After many MANY weeks of research, gathering information from several sites, reviews etc I decided that the Britax Boulevard was definitely the safest bet available on the market. The things that sold me: All the safety gadgets that other seats don't ...
Pros: 65 lb weight limit, easy to adjust harness height, True Side Impact Protection Cons: Bigger than most other convertible seats. Very few pattern selections. Cost!
WHY I PURCHASED THE BRITAX BOULEVARD: My 4 1/2 yr old son was outgrowing his Evenflo Triumph, both by weight & height. I wasn't comfortable with him riding in a booster seat yet (even at 40 lbs he still seems so small), so I researched all the different ...
Pros: Great, easy adjust features. Cons: Costly (buy on e-bay and save $$$ about 75!)
I have owned a total of 5 car seats so far, and 2 of them are Britax Boulevards, and I'm about to buy a 3rd. (I've also had the Graco safeseat step 1 and 2, the Eddie Bauer all-in-one and the Evenflo Triumph) and the Britax is way more expensive than ...
My experience with the Gigabyte Triton Case This case was purchased as the foundation for a replacement PC. My last desktop was a hand me down Compaq that I merged with components from my previous desktop computer. It was old from the start. ...
Pros: Safety reviews Cons: Rear-facing leg room and poor customer service.
When I purchased this product, I did so because my 8 month old was 29" and her infant car seat's maximum height was 29", so I thought I'd go ahead and buy a convertible to use rear facing until she turned one. We have a Yukon with bucket seats in the ...
Pros: safe, secure, true side protection, Goes up to 65 pounds Cons: short crotch strap, price
I originally purchased a different car seat before I bought the Britax Boulevard. I am very impressed with this seat. It is very sturdy, and I found it very easy to install. It has true side protection, it reclines and has adjustable straps and the ...
Pros: Durable, great constructions, lasts through child growth, easy to clean. Cons: Can't use to bring baby home from hospital. Need infant seat for first day.
This is on the expensive side for car seats but well worth it! This seat lasts from infant through riding without a car seat. I would recommend the investment to anyone, the baby finds it comfortable and it grows with your family. Easy to clean and ...
Pros: - True Side Impact Protection
- Easy to install
- Extremely comfortable for baby Cons: - Big seat in the rear facing position; won't work for some
After an exhaustive search, I purchased two Britax Boulevard convertible seats in the onyx fabric to replace the two Graco Snugride (Metropolitan) car seats that I was using for my 9-month-old twins. My babies were never been comfortable in the Snugride ...
Pros: Don't have to rethread the shoulder straps, comfortable, easy to use Cons: None
I have owned a Britax Boulevard for a couple of years now and I love it. The seat is nice and plush, my son falls right to sleep in it. I like how you can adjust the shoulder strap height without having to rethread the straps through the holes like ...
BIG but comfy and makes me feel safe by elivings ,Jan 30 '07
Pros: Will last for ages, stylish, highest protection from Britax Cons: Huge, expensive, not practical to take travelling.
I bought this carseat for three main reasons:
- it can be used until your child is 65 pounds
- it has side protection
- I know that more expensive doesn't necessarily compute to best seat but I felt good knowing I hadn't compromised due to price (stupid, I know)
I knew it was big but it is HUGE. We have to have the front seat of our Infiniti FX (an SUV) a long way forward in order to fit it in the rear-facing position.
It has lots of comfy padding. It looks good forward facing but is a bit yuck in the rear facing position as it shows all the workings on the rear.
Pros: Doesn't move an inch when latched into the car, large, hefty, and rock-solid Cons: Very bulky and heavy. Don't try to fly with this monster carseat.
I'm not a person who goes out and spends extra money on the kids. However, the Boulevard carseat is so hefty and strong, and latches into the car so rock-solidly, that I don't second-guess the money we spend on these.
We originally got our Boulevard carseats for my daughter when she graduated out of her rear-facing infant carrier. We now have an two-month-old as well and he has almost doubled his birthweight already, and I know that the Boulevard will be a perfect rear-facing solution when he outgrows the weight and height restrictions on the infant carrier before he's 1 year old.
I do travel alone with the kids a few times a year, and one trip through the airport hauling the Boulevard prompted me to go and find a lightweight Graco for travel. The Boulevard is NOT a good solution for airline travel.
This car seat is Wonderful! - Accident proved it for me by luv2bholm ,Oct 29 '08
Pros: The snap in latch system; padding, adjustability while installed;straps never twist; side impact protection Cons: I only dislike the buckle. It can be hard to snap in place at times
There is nothing like a Britax. I am even more a believer as we were in a sustancial car accident just recently. I purchased my Boulevard for my special needs child as he has a neurological condition, and I was mentally wanting protection for my child in case of a side impact. We were rear ended pretty forcefully and our youngest didn't move a bit in this seat. He didn't face any injuries (we had him checked to be sure). This seat is worth its weight in gold. It may be 2-300 dollars, but it is worth every penney when you see the way it tightens into the car so easily. The straps also never twist. We had our seat for about a year and the straps twisted slightly once. My child is also very comfortable in this seat. It has more padding than the typical car seat. The integrity of the plastic will beat any other brand out there. I am replacing his with another just like it and buying another britax for my older son as well. If you're on a budget like us, this is one area worth sacrificing for. Get one, you won't regret it.
Pros: safety, easy, Great head rest. Cons: Cost ($300) TinyRide.com has the best deals.
Even though this seat is quite pricey, it is worth every penny. My son is very comfortable in it. My favorite feature is the side head protectors. They are not only good in a crash but my son uses it as a head rest when he sleeps, so his head does not flop around like my other car seat (cosco alpha omega). It is also very easy to install and use.
