Bazooka EL1204 Car Subwoofer

I saw a set of these speakers on ebay for a Very low price. $5.50 to be exact. I thought to myself I have nothing to lose but 5 bucks if I buy them, so I bid on them. When they arrived I immediately installed them and boy was I happy. The subs hit alot...

Pros: Loud as hell and can take tons of power. Excellent price
Cons: Not much excursion.

I have installed 2 of these subs in a sealed box. I have hooked up a new Sony Xplod XM-D400P5 400 Watt RMS sub amp to them. While they are loud and put out clean bass, they don't have much excursion. I can push these things really hard and haven't gotten distortion yet. If you are into Rock, these would be awesome for you. Also, techno plays extremely good on them. I listen to rap so these just aren't cutting it for me. The little excursion these put out aren't just what I am looking for. I paid $66 for these shipped from Ebay so I got a great deal. For the money, you can't go wrong.

I was impressed with the sound quality, even smoother than the alpine S series. When buying used, usually way underpriced which is great for the consumer yet not so good for the seller. Spring terminals are a great feature. When amplified sufficiently, they play low and loud. Rubber surrounds mean that you can count on them for years, instead of the JLs (which I've owned).

Put one in a box,lasted 3 days!!The liquid cool didn't stop the speaker from blowing (which it should've).For all the designing that when into this speaker they should've put a bigger magnet to handle more power,then it would be a durable sub woofer.This sub is over prices and over rated!!!

This sub is absolutrly brilliant! It is so loud and the bass is punchy. I am running it off a 500watt amp. Recommend it highly

I put it in a normal sealed box, had a kicker 600.4 running 2. That means 300 max each. However the gain wasnt all the way up so it wasnt getting close to 300w. Even with the RMS barley being met, the sub blew. I paid 140$ for 2 at Circuit SHITY. I got ripped off. I would not recomened these subs to anyone who wants to impress anyone. If your amp is run by a hampster on a wheel, this is the sub for you, but if your serious about sound, look the other way.
