Pros: Plays MP3 CDs, integrates well with BMWs Cons: slow in fast forwarding tracks, problems with folders
I got this changer because I wanted a way to listen to MP3 CDs in my car without having to get a new head unit and all that (a common problem in BMWs). I did not really have a problem with getting a new head unit, except that the buttons on my steering ...

I bought this unit after struggling with a Sony MP3 CD changer (model CDX-565MXRF) for a few months. The Sony unit had been a big disappointment and the Alpine unit has turned out to be just fantastic. I'm using it with my factory sound system for the ...
Pros: 6 discs of MP3's, works like a dream. Great sound. Cons: Only navigation

Love everything about this unit... by demo55_dt3000 ,Jul 01 '02
Love everything about this unit except the way it reads the CD's for Titling. When its in the middle of displying the title and artist and the song finishes, it automatically cuts off the next song name and adds it to the ending of the pevious song, For example. Pearl Jam - JerAngel. Where the song was Jeremy next song was Angel by Aerosmith. It has to be resolved, very problematic. And It doesn't read every kind of cdrw or cdr. Has trouble with specific brands.
