Pros: Great quality, reasonably priced, simple to use and nice looking Cons: A nice unit for our family...may not satisfy an audiophile

Deh- 1100 Pretty Good cd Player
by oldsmobilec ,Dec 16 '06
Pros: Loud button, can save radio stations on it, lights up, Cons: Distorted at high volume, not real loud, skipsif cd is not in perfect shape
I have a Deh- 1100 in my 1985 Cutlass, it is a decent cd player but is distorted at volume 24(out of 30) and over and no it is not my speakers, I have new Spl speakers. I am not so sure it gives 140 watts either, but still not the worst thing in the world. It has good sound quality untill turned up to vol. 24. I really like the loud button, it makes my subs hit hard.
