poneyby's Full Review: Remington Microflex R-835 Electric Shaver
I finally got around to getting a new razor a couple weeks ago. I have been needing one for awhile now. My old one was not doing a very good job anymore. I saw this razor on sale in a flyer and knew that Remington was a good name and brand.
I noticed a BIG difference right away when I started using this. My skin is much smoother with this new shaver. This shaver has three heads that float and adjust to your face. It took about a week before I could really tell how much I liked this shaver. My face at first was red and soar, but smooth after shaving. It doesn't hurt at all now and in minutes I am finished shaving.
This razor has 33% more cutting slots in the heads then other rotary shavers. This along with the high performance motor and self sharpening blades means a closer and faster shave. I really like the pop-up trimmer on the back of the razor. It is very easy to trim my sideburns with the trimmer. This in a plug-in razor and not a rechargeable one. It comes with a protective plastic headguard and a nice storage pouch.
This razor is very easy to clean the head with the blades pops off easy. Using the small brush(included) you just wipe the cutting blades free of hair and the 3 shaver spindles. They say to clean it once a week and I suggest twice it only takes a minute anyway. They recommend replacing the heads and cutters every 12 months. I think though that until your face really starts to get irritated or you not getting a close shave then you can wait longer.
I really like this razor so far. I only paid 25 dollars for it on sale. Each time I use it my face feels better and smoother. My face has always been very sensitive and using a regular razor I always cut myself. I like my face to be smooth and this shaver does the job well. If you looking for a nice electric shaver at a good price I recommend trying a Remington Microflex.
