Great Honeymoon location

My wife and I honeymooned in Ixtapa during the month of July. The weather was very humid, but beautiful. We stayed at the "Westin Brisas" resort which is secluded from the town proper. The Westin has its own private beach and a gorgeous view. I would highly recommend staying there over the other resorts. Town was a short walk away and there was much to do. Prices were reasonable in and out of the resorts. Definitely take the time to go to Zijuatenejo! It is a quaint fishing village with an open air market and great beaches. We stayed for a week and spent far less than we had expected. The food was great and very reasonably priced. Oh yeah.... don't be afraid to drink the water. All resorts purify the water before it ever reaches your glass. Enjoy!!
