PS 1 is great fun still

Pros: Cheap console. Cheap games. Cheap upgrades. Good gaming and graphics.

Cons: Not as real as ps2 or xbox.

In todays clamor about PS2 and Xbox. Families who are getting their first console may be better off with PS1. PS1 was a better choice for us. We had a DVD and did not want an expensive console that would run expensive games. We ended up getting PS1 and we love it. The games are challenging and real for beginning to average gamers. The best part is that we can get upgrades or good games for $10. When was the last time an xbox game went for $10? We are even looking at a steering wheel for $30 new! Games are allover and if you work it right, you can get more experienced gamers to give you their old PS1 games!
