This is a so so movie. It is nothing we have not seen before. It is similar to Suicide Kings meets Stand By Me.
A group of 4 friends reunite after their secret of murder committed years ago when they were high on marijuana resurfaces.
A priest, a cop, a lawyer and a fourth go at it for 2 hours or so about who was at fault and who is going to take the fall. The acting is decent but the plot is rehash leftover. If you took the one room style of Suicide Kings and the flashback of little kids similar to Stand By Me, there you have Lesser Evil.
We all know someone is going to die n the end since the movie starts with a funeral. We just don't know who, how or why. I won't spoil it for you, but things and people are not what they seem.
The style is slow in points and definitely low budget in that much of it was filmed in a one room cabin. The friends confess and rehash and go over flashbacks. Of course there is money involved as well. Overall I would say this is better than a slow night of TV, but if TV has a good show on skip this one.
