Plot Details: This opinion reveals minor details about the movie's plot.
I think it had a good plot and excellent acting. It was a very exciting movie. And is far as the movie being full of "racism", they put the same stuff in movies today, albeit reversed if you know what I mean. I certainly enjoyed it, although I couldn't read some of the words, seeing as they showed them very quickly, and had to rewind it.
The basic plot (of the movie) is that the carpetbaggers are bad, that they caused the problems in South, that they used the blacks to farther there own schemes. And that the Ku Klux Klan is the good, that they ran the carpetbaggers out of town, and executed the murder, and saved the day.
Note: The birth of a Nation is referring to the birth of the Invisible Empire (KKK).
What kind of person would enjoy this movie? Well I'm sure a Ku Kluxer would. But seriously now, any person who likes "different" kind of movies and can read fast, I think would like it.
It does have some historically inaccurate stuff in it, but it is a fictional movie, I mean come on. Your smart enough to pick out the inaccuracies. (I Hope!)
