Erod's Full Review: Big Sounds From the Township * by The Twistoffs
The Twistoffs are a band from the Kent, Ohio area. They are basically a Ska-type band that reminds one of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones or something to that effect. They certainly do have their own unique sound tho, and their brass section really makes the group. They have had their music on ESPN's X Games, The Disney Channel's Z Games, and MTV's The Real World. They primarily tour the northeastern US, but have been all over the country at one time or another. Anyhow, I first saw them about 5 years ago in Youngstown, Ohio, and I have made it a point to see them every chance since then, as not only is their music great, but their stage show is absolutely the best. If the Bosstones or BNL is even vaguely the kind of music you like, try out one of their albums, you won't regret it.
