Giving the family set series a fresh new outlook, Get Real is a welcome addition to my television scheduling. Following 90210 in Fox's Wednesday night line up, it was sure to at least get a glance from me. Luckily I gave it more than just that first glance and was quickly drawn into it's whole deal.
Based around one specific family, including three teens, modern parents, and their grandmother, the show still instills a special intricacy you don't find too often. By following all the characters at one time or another, Get Real will appeal to a wider range of audiences. Covering each aspect of interest, without veering too far away from the previous, each show will bring a different feeling and emotion.
Offering such topics as sibling rivalry, grandma dating, and friendship vs. boyfriend I've yet to be bored. With a whole new bunch of actors, it's exciting to see the level of acting that is pulled off my each of them. I look forward to more of this great new show.
