Great Cordless for the Money

Pros: Fantastic battery life, simple controls and programming, good range. Nice styling
Cons: sound quality could be better.....

This cordless has all the bells and whistles I need:
Caller ID (even for call waiting!)
Digital answering machine
Speakerphone
Wall-mountable
Long battery life
This replaces a Uniden cordless phone that I had to argue with Uniden to replace when it went bad under warranty and it, and its replacement, had terrible battery life (in my house that's important - a long winded wife and two daughters mandate this!) and constantly went dead. This phone outlasts all three of them!
The only complaint (This is from the female talkers in the house) is that 'sometimes' the person at the other end doesn't 'sound right'. I don't know - I never get a chance to use it, I just have to set up the speed dials (which is a breeze on this phone because you can store callers from you caller ID into your speed dial list!!)
I bought this from Buy.com, who had the best price when I bought it and my experience with them has always been the best.
