Everybody warned me but I didn't listen. I guess I had to learn things the hard way. You don't see much of this older model neon on the road for a reason! I bought this car back in 1999. Like a sucker, I went for the cheap price and the fact that it was only four years old. In addition, the neon had only 80k on it. My previous car was a toyota corolla. When my corolla hit 230,000 miles I got scared of future/potential repair cost. That was my mistake. After oil leaks, transmission leaks, check engine lights, and numerous repairs, I finally gave up on that neon. Please be warned! Do not buy any Neons, don't even trust the new ones. I would buy a Kia before I buy a neon.
