Pros: Incredible Response in Race Course, Best boot you can get!!!
Cons: Maybe to stiff & Unforgiving for beginners/Non-Racers.
The Bottom Line: They are awesome and you won't regret getting them. They are the best boots I've ever had. They are worth the money for them.

Really the BEST boot you can get for good clean performence in Gates. I have a wide foot (D to E) and Technica is definatly the best boot for a wide foot person, or people who are built big. I've had many different boots, since I switched to Technica a couple of years again I thought I'd never find a boot as good, until I skied in a pair of Icons, WOW they are awesome. I ski on a new pair of Fischer RC4 Pro's and the boots give incredible response to the ski edge. You will not regret getting these boots, they are the best - you are going to pay money, but they are way worth the price. Right after I bought the boots the first like four times I skied in them I had a couple foot cramps, which was do to breaking in the boots. So, yes you do have to break them in. The price you pay those first four times you ski in them is worth it. After that I have never had a problem with them, and all they do is respond to every little command 100%. The boots maintain ridgity for heavier people, I'm 200lbs, and they hold awesome.
