The Bottom Line: Opinions are of one's experience and if you do not try it yourself you can never believe in what you here.

| teanna3's Full Review: Sunbeam SB105 Ultrasonic Pest Repeller |
I have a house that does have open spaces and I guess controlling the places that pest would crawl I would have to have my landlord come and patch all the holes. I have been using Sunbeam ultrasonic pest repeller for years. I can say it does control to a point.
I keep area's in the garage clean and not let too much pile up that would be a place where mice would go and hide. I also put out chemical bate blocks. I have not had problems with Ants, spiders, or flying insects.
( I do have dirty neighbors that leave garbage around and usually once a year I would find a dead mouse and I do ask them to clean up the garbage and cut back the trees and hedges and when the fruits of their trees fall pick up as the mice and roofing rats get out and feed off .)
When there is a pest problem nothing will keep them away not even a pest repeller. I have 6 plug in and have not seen any action of mice.
The one thing to do is make sure around your house you keep it clear of any storage junk, garbage cans lids tightly closed as that is a problem in it self when you keep yours close and neighbors have theirs over flowing and garbage laying all over and that will bring them little pest around .
Pest are attracted by smell of food and leaving food out decreases the efficiency of the repeller.
Not much to operate: remove from the package and plug in. That is it.
TIP:
One thing to remember we are the ones who have to help control the pest if they are present and to repair any openings, windows, garage, drainpipes, ventilation, and any other areas where the pest can enter.
It will not help with pest infestation as you need to call a pest control service.
Caution: Do not use around pets such as rodent pets, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, ferrets and chinchillas.
I have read that this does not work and it is a waste of money. True if you have pests infestation, it will not work to chase the little buggers away, and if you use the tips and follow them you will see the repeller working.
Its a lifetime job and I know it can be a pain in the backside, but having help as this small device you will change you mine about it and buy one or more. I hope to hear feedback from you once you try yours.

UPDATE::::
Some tips of how to use:
Avoid placing the unit behind any large pieces of furniture.
Placing one per room area.
The time it takes for the device to work, depending on the pest infestation. I have to say the question came up when asked does it really work, well yes and no. As I said controlling the areas to be kept clean, repair openings, and you will see the pest will be less.
The rodents may become used to Ultrasonic sound and return to their nesting or feeding habitats, even in the presence of the unit. There are always catch to anything we use and why do they say they work and we buy them and they don't work 100%.
Well this is why you need to follow the directions and keep the places clean that you see where there is activity. Droppings are a sign. Little black (like long grain rice) their is mice small pest and if black larger means there are bigger rats. Just have to look around . Put some bate out in garage areas and yard and that will help.
