| faithforever's Full Review: South Beach Sun Brazen! Dark Tanning Lotion, SPF 0 |
You might remember, if you read my review on South Beach Suns BRAZEN! Dark Tanning Carrot Oil, that sunbathing is something of a relaxation technique for me. The warmth of sunshine touching my skin is one of those few simple luxuries that Ive enjoyed since I was a teen. As Im something of a nature lover, its quite possible that this simplistic pleasure has its roots in the freedom of my childhood when I enjoyed the wonders I discovered outside much more than I did the suffocating atmosphere of the living room or kitchen. (That is... until I learned to READ... even then, though, - weather permitting, I would often seek out some quiet space beneath a tree or amid my grandmothers flower gardens for tuning out the real world and tuning into whatever newly discovered place I might find myself in as I read).
As I came into my teenage years and began to display the characteristics of a girl instead of the true tomboy who lived within, I realized that I could read and achieve the pleasant result s of a nice summer tanning at the same time. That was the turning point, of course... between childhood and the warnings of a GIRL interrupted by hormones, hastened heartbeats resulting from exposure to the male gender and the overall realization that there is a certain amount of desire to be pretty inside every girl and woman. Vanity aside, though, at forty years old and with the assurance of a husband who likes whos living inside of me more than he likes my eyes or thighs, I still find sunbathing (and reading) to be excellent forms of relaxation.
During the days of clear, sunny skies, tanning becomes even more addictive. And when you happen upon a product like South Beach Suns BRAZEN! Dark Tanning Carrot Milk Lotion, youre really hooked. Like the BRAZEN! Dark Tanning Carrot Oil, the lotion smells delicious. Unlike the spray oil, the Carrot Milk Lotion absorbs into your skin without leaving you slick and oily. According to personal taste, this could be considered a pro or con. According to the moment, I use the one I happen to be in the mood for. Sometimes I like the oil on my skin. Other times, I prefer the absorption of the lotion. Both the oil and the lotion have proven to be exceptional tanning products.
South Beach Sun BRAZEN! Dark Tanning Carrot Milk Lotion comes in a8 oz. plastic bottle and is approved for sunbathing or tanning salons. The lotion is a outdoor/indoor formula with no dyes, no mineral oil, no animal testing and no sun screen. The same as the BRAZEN! Oil, the BRAZEN! Carrot Milk Lotion is made with Carrot Oil, which naturally enhances the user's tan. And, according to the bottle's description, BRAZEN! Carrot Milk Lotion (again, the same as the BRAZEN! Oil) has over 600 antioxidants which nourish skin and prevent premature aging (always a BIG plus).
Warnings: BRAZEN! Contains NO SUN SCREEN and should only be used by those with a strong base tan desiring full exposure to the sun or tanning bed rays. For external use only (well, it does smell delicious, but not so much so that I would think anyone would take a drink of this stuff). Due to the natural color of pure carrot oil, the product may stain some fabrics.
Directions: Apply liberally before and during exposure to the sun or tanning bed rays.

South Beach Sun BRAZEN! Dark Tanning Carrot Milk Lotion costs the same as the Carrot Oil and, from personal experience, provides the same extraordinary results. The lotion leaves your skin smelling wonderful and feeling less oily than the BRAZEN! Spray Oil and, at the same time, leaves your skin with a deeper, richer color than any other Tanning Product Ive used before. South Beach Sun definitely has discovered a successful tanning product with this lotion (and the spray oil). It has a attractive scent, absorbs well and leaves your skin feeling moisturized and pampered. And, it actually hastens a deeper, darker tan as it nourishes your skin. I love this product and would recommend it to anyone who finds pleasure in sunbathing.
