I have always had Solarcaine in my home! When I was a child I remember my mom always having it on hand too , my brother and I are very fair skinned, so needless to say we were always screaming about a sunburn. Solarcaine always helped take the sting and heat out of a bad burn. I used to make my mom spray it on me every hour. I always thought of Solarcaine as the sunburn relief spray, but recently after moving to NY from Las Vegas where they don't really have mosquitos, I came to realize what amazing effects Solarcaine has on bug bites!
I am very sensitive to alot of products, so I tend to get the itchies alot of the time from that also. I have spent many days applying and reapplying hydrocortizone cream to myself which gives little relief to a bad itch. But when I finally, after 17 years or so of knowing how to read, read the can of Solarcaine and found out that it was good for minor cuts and scrapes AND Bug bites!! YAY!!!!!! So I was compelled to spray it on my leg after a day out in the grass, and a whole load of Itchy as you can imagine, Mosquito bites. And Oh the relief I felt. Solarcaine not only cooled my skin from the burning I had caused by scratching so much, it completely made the itching stop. And not just for 10 minutes. It lasted a long time. I sprayed it on at bed time, and i did not wake up scratching the life out of my legs as i usually would do at night! Solarcaine has a permanent home in my home. I will continue to buy this product for myself and my family for as long as they keep producing it. I can tell you that nothing stops itching and burning better than this stuff.
