Fly Flight Sim the REAL way!

I remember the day the original flight simulator came out from Microsoft. When I bought it, it was the best thing that ever happened to me and it brought me closer to flying than I ever have been before. The years passed and the market had some pretty realistic and stylish joysticks out--all of which were compatible with MS Flight Sim. I was tired of using the keyboard and mouse to fly a Cessna or LearJet out of Chicago Meigs Field. Then it happened. The CH Products Virtual Pilot Pro yoke. I got it, and I became a different person. A Flight Simulator Pilot. But i needed more...I needed the CH Products Rudder Pedals to complete my virtual cockpit. So how did it work out?
The yoke is a very nice design. It controls all fundamentals of flight--pitch, power, roll, and yaw which is made even more realistic with the pedals. Its not a force feedback yoke but it provides the tension a little better than any other original joystick and gives the effect that you are actually airborne.
The sensitivities can be set to you the pilots personal preference and the yoke is compatible with any game on the market that is Windows based and requires a joystick. But for the flight sim pilot, it is a dream come true. It may also be used as a steering wheel in most driving or car racing games as well as games such as Descent I, II, and III where there are multi-axises.
The drivers are somewhat outdated, however, updated ones may be downloaded from the CH Products website free of charge.
Of course this yoke isn't like a Class D Flight Safety full motion simulator, but for Flight Sim on the PC...it does a nice job.
If you are looking for a newer design in Flight Sim yokes, I might recommend the newest design of the flight sim yoke by CH Products.
