| Birdfeather's Full Review: Propel Water |
Being a somewhat health enthusiast, I always like to try new products. Propel Fitness Water, has been around for awhile and I had tried it but never gotten around to reviewing it. Having recent surgery, I wanted to have lots of options for fluids when I came home and since Propel Fitness Water comes in 7 different flavors, is low calorie and contains vitamins, is a product I picked up.
Propel Fitness Water
Bottled water and flavored water has recently hit the nation by storm. It has become a popular item and staple in many households. It has even become popular to be seen drinking bottled water. Propel Fitness Water is one of those options on the market. It comes in 7 flavors: Melon, Lemon, Peach, Berry, Tropical Citrus, Kiwi-Strawberry, Grape and Black Cherry.
You can purchase Propel Fitness Water in various single size bottles and also multi-packs. Expect to pay a little more for Propel Fitness Water, over regular bottled water. It is on the expensive side. I just purchased the melon flavor in a 33.8 fl. oz. bottle and paid $1.89 for it. The bottles are a dark to medium blue plastic with a dark blue label.
Propel Fitness Water was designed to be a product to use for hydration, especially after workouts. It contains vitamins and antioxidants in a low flavored water, yet low calorie water.
My Experience With Propel Fitness Water
I think a lot of people pick this up as a regular water and are therefore, disappointed with the cost and mild flavor. However, this is marketed as a fitness drink for hydration. Athletes do not now a high calorie sweet drink when working out. This can cause vomiting if over-heated. Propel Fitness Water has a slight flavor and only 10 calories per serving (8 fl. oz.). I think this is one of the misconceptions people have about Propel and compare it to other regular flavored waters. By doing this, you will come up short on the flavor end.
Now, on to the taste test. I last purchased the Melon flavor. It was the only different flavor the store had in stock and I thought it would be more like a watermelon flavor, but it comes off as cantaloupe/honeydew to me. The flavor is very mild and pleasant (if you like the flavor). I found the melon flavor a little hard to love but it was tolerable.
I would recommend Propel Fitness Water to anyone who endures moderate to high impact workouts and runners. It is a good source of vitamins and hydration. It is also a great alternative to anyone wanting a flavored fitness drink that is not loaded with calories. If you don't drink your 32 oz. servings per day, this flavored alternative is a great way to go!
Overall, I think this is a decent flavored water. Just don't buy it and expect a flavor packed with a punch. It is not designed to burst with flavor and you will be disappointed. So, if you like regular water without any calories, you may want to by-pass this. However, if you have a need for hydration after workouts or just have yucky tasting tap water in your area, this is a great alternative.

Recommendation
I highly recommend Propel Fitness Water for anyone working out or needing a hydration substance. This is a great way to get your 8 fl. oz. of water if you are not one to love drinking regular water. You have a choice of flavors which does not add a lot of calories. I give Propel Fitness Water 5 Stars.
