Pros: Your don't hear that awful wretching noise in the dark of night anymore.
Cons: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too expensive.
The Bottom Line: Don't want to find the remnants of yesterday's catbath with bare feet in the dark of night? Get this stuff! If nothing else, mix it in with the regular food!

| melmouse's Full Review: Pro Plan Advanced Hairball Chicken and Rice Formul... |
As a cat owner and one who has done cat rescue over a number of years, I know that there is nothing more disgusting than lying in bed at night and hearing one of your furred family members wretching somewhere in the house. You ask yourself, "will I find it with my eyes or my foot?"
Well, with 5 permanent feline residents in my home, I will tell you that I have found a food that has helped eliminate this. Yes, we brush the cats daily.....we have corner combs all over the place.....we still have hairballs.
For giggles, I bought a bag of this food. I figured I would give it a try. I paid 25.99+tax for 20lbs. I about fell over at the price, but if it worked, then it was worth it. My piggies ate it in under 2 weeks! BUT - no more hairballs after the second day on it!
Now, I mix it in with 2 parts regular food. The hairball problem is still gone. My cats coats look shiny, they are not losing weight.
My cats range in age from 1 yr to 14 yrs, and all 5 of them love this stuff. The taste is appealing to them.
