The Bottom Line: Pampers Tidy Tykes Sesame Street Flushable Moist Wipes don't get my recommendation. There are better products out there in my opinion.

Once my eyes were opened to the fact that there was such a thing as flushable wipes I went to the store and bought a two brands. Pull-Ups Just for Kids, Flushable Moist Wipes and Pampers Tidy Tykes Sesame Street Flushable Moist Wipes. Of the two I prefer Pull-Ups version, but I'm getting ahead of myself. So, onto the review!
About Pampers Tidy Tykes Sesame Street Flushable Moist Wipes
Pampers Tidy Tykes Sesame Street Flushable Moist Wipes come in plastic blue container. Within the container are 48 wipes that are 5.3" x 6.2". The box with the 48 wipes sells for $1.79 at my local Target store. Refill packs are also available and sell for $1.49 for a pack of 48. The packaging (which you must remove to use the wipes) is decorated with Sesame Street characters and each box comes with Sesame Street stickers which are sure to be a hit with any young child.
Pampers Tidy Tykes Sesame Street Flushable Moist Wipes are alcohol free and hypoallergenic. Pampers claims their product to be "milder than a washcloth and water" [www.pampers.com] and while I don't really agree with that, I will admit that more than likely these are softer feeling unless you're using a really nice (expensive) washcloth to do the bottom wiping in your home.
Ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, PEG-75 Lanolin, Cocoamphodiacetate, Polysorbate 20, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, 2-Bromo-2-Nitropropane-1,3-Diol, Fragrance.

The Pampers Tidy Tykes Sesame Street Flushable Moist Wipes Experience
Tearing off the wrapping the first thing I saw were the free stickers. Yay! My son loved them and this was the best part of purchasing this product.
When opening up the blue plastic container I noticed that while not difficult to open by any means, it wasn't made as easy to open as our beloved Pull-Ups Just for Kids Flushable Wipes. The container is fairly sturdy; ours somehow became squished and had a dent in the corner but I didn't notice it until we got home. Even so this didn't effect the wipes or the container in any way other than looks.
The wipes are pretty standard as far as the small flushable wipes go. They're smaller than baby wipes which means if you, the adult, is using them - watch out for any um..... bodily fluids (or solids) as you don't have as much safety with these as with the baby wipes you're used to. Being that they're smaller, they are perfect for young children who are learning to care for their own toileting needs. While not as durable as I've found the standard baby wipe to be, these wipes hold up well enough -- just remember -- "gently!"
Until now, I'd say these would get a three to four star rating from me. However, there is one thing which is enough for me to knock 'em down to 2.5 (will be nice about it and give 3) and that is the smell. Pampers Tidy Tykes Sesame Street Flushable Moist Wipes have the strangest scent to them. It isn't pleasant -- it smells like pepper. Yes, that black and gray stuff you sprinkle on food to add flavor. Pepper! I know, I know. The smell will take away stars? Please. But honestly, it was enough for me to stop buying them. Why settle for pepper scent when you have so many other flushable wipe options that smell nice (or even smell like nothing at all)?
bops_mom's Recommendation
Pampers Tidy Tykes Sesame Street Flushable Moist Wipes do contain the known allergen lanolin, so if you or anyone in your family is sensitive to this, avoid these wipes. If you're looking for a nice flushable wipe -- honestly, pass on Pampers Tidy Tykes Sesame Street Flushable Moist Wipes and purchase Huggies Pull-Ups Just For Kids Flushable Moist Wipes instead. At least in our home the Huggies Pull-Ups brand wipes win hands down over these.
