great material for realistic flies

Pros: easy to use, multipurpose

Cons: none -- unless poorly dyed

a basic body material, also great for legs, antennae, gills, wings. A myriad of uses. Dyed stuff can be brittle so it is best to get someplace you can actually feel the quill, or from a reputable supply house that will not have a problem taking it back for quality issues
