Hey, what’s that on my forehead? Yikes …
The Product
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream Original Formula SPF 15 (henceforth known as Anti-Wrinkle cream) is a white, very thin consistency, cream that is packaged in a 40 gram (1.4 oz) metal squeeze tube with a screw off white base. The metal tube comes sealed and so to open the package, you need to unscrew the base, flip it over, and puncture the metal seal. The Anti-Wrinkle cream is available at most stores that carry the Neutrogena line. I purchased mine from Target for approximately $10.99.
Neutrogena Claims:
· Clinically proven to start to visibly reduce the apperance of fine lines and wrinkles in one week.
· Helps prevent premature signs of aging from the sun.
· Visibly reduce age-spots in approximately 8 weeks.
· Softens and smoothes skin with multi-vitamins.
· Non-comedogenic – won’t clog pores.
· Results = “Healthier, younger-looking skin.”
Directions:
Use a pearl-sized amount daily, after cleansing, in place of your regular moisturizer. You may experience some irritation. This is normal and temporary. If irritation persists, or is too strong, use once a day, every other day, until your skin adjusts; then revert to daily use. For first use, puncture seal with end of cap.

My Experience
Tick, tock, tick, tock. Time has been ticking away … my wake up call came one day when I peered in the mirror and noticed a spot on my forehead. A closer examination confirmed my worst fears … an age spot! Yikes! Drastic action had to be taken immediately.
Up until my wake up call, I had been switching back and forth between facial moisturizers. I didn’t really pay close attention to the ingredients, I just needed something to moisturizer my “sometimes dry” skin. Despite my super oily/combination skin, I have found that after cleansing my face, it sometimes needs a little moisturizer. I also read that even oily skin needed a moisturizer. To top that, all skin needs SPF protection from harmful UV rays.
I decided to take the plunge to the “anti-wrinkle” realm of creams. Which one to pick? There are so many on the market, it’s a difficult decision indeed. I have had lots of luck with Neutrogena products and have used their products for many (many) years, so I thought best to try out one of their anti-wrinkle creams. I chose Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream Original Formula SPF 15 because of its combination of anti-wrinkle properties, age-spot fighting ingredients, and anti-pore clogging properties.
I handed over about $11 to Target and brought the anti-wrinkle cream home. I popped it out of the cardboard box and removed the cap. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the cream was sealed … it was reassuring to know that no one at the store “sampled” my newly purchased cream. I flipped the cap over, punctured the seal, took a peek. The cream was a little one the watery side … Very thin in consistency. The cream didn’t smell like much of anything; there may be a very faint, faint hint of chemicals but it is barely detectable. I squeezed a pearl-sized amount of the cream onto my finger and then placed small dabs of the cream on my face. I then worked the cream into my skin and noticed how quickly the cream absorbed. Furthermore, the cream was very light on the skin and once absorbed, there was absolutely no feeling of greasiness or oiliness left behind. The moisturizer completely absorbed into my skin and there was not even a hint of heaviness left behind. So far, so good! I paid special attention to my little age-spot on my forehead and made sure to rub some anti-wrinkle cream on the spot. I knew the results would not be instantaneous. I used the anti-wrinkle cream faithfully for about three months. I usually did not pay too much attention to the age-spot, only when I was excessively bored on a particular day would I examine it closer. After about three months of using the product, on a day when I was extremely bored, I took a peek at the age-spot … or what used to be the age-spot. It had lightened up dramatically! The age-spot had faded away … I could still tell where it was but it was much lighter than before the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream Original Formula SPF 15! Excellent! Other changes I have noticed with use of the anti-wrinkle cream is that my skin is softer and looks healthier. I did not experience any irritation with the cream nor did I have any problems with breakouts. This was excellent, considering my skin type (oily/combination).
I cannot say enough good things about Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream Original Formula SPF 15! It really works well and is a fantastic cream to help fight (or reduce) the signs of aging. It is a must try!
