Pros: This product seems to stop development of pimples effectively.
Cons: Smells a bit like zinc or metal. Using too much can cause excessive dryness.
The Bottom Line: Of the products I've tried, this is one seems to do the halt pimples' progress best without causing any side effects (when used properly).

I saw the Murad infomercial a few times on television and was impressed enough to give some of these products a try. But I didn't order from the ad, I just bought what I wanted at Ulta.
I bought this product along with the Murad Clarifying cleanser to control and prevent breakouts. I have mostly clear skin with occasional blemishes here and there, and not just on my face. Both of these products should be used very sparingly, as they are very potent, which also justifies the higher cost of Murad products.
I keep the Acne Management Formula tube next to my bed, so I can just dab a tiny bit of it on blemishes before bed. Because it has a bit of a distracting metallic smell to it, I only use it at night, which seems to work fine for me.
For best results, cleans face and be sure to remove all makeup before bed with a gentle cleanser. (I like Pond's cleansing cloths best because they don't overdry, like Biore's cloths.) Be sure to dab only enough of the stuff on to cover each blemish individually - don't smear it between blemishes over healthy skin or use too much at a time or you may experience over-dried skin, possibly causing your skin to peel.
I recommend using this product for those upcoming special events when you really want to look your best. If you have more severe blemish problems, you may want to focus on your cleansing routine, and I do recommend the Murad Clarifying Cleanser, which runs about $20 for a 6 oz. bottle, which can last for months if used sparingly, as directed.
