Pros: Keeps stuff out of the wet, lifetime guarantee upheld
Cons: didn't come in purple (but I love my superman blue just as much!)
The Bottom Line: Great for skiers, swimmers, and anyone who needs to set their bag down in any possible wetness. This bag will "stand-up" to the job!

| manky's Full Review: Jansport Sole Survivor |
Jansport deserves hi kudos in my book! They follow through with their guarantees, and generally are in the up and up of pack user's needs.
I owned an EastPack halfway through high school, only to have it come apart at the seams. I searched and searched for a way to return the pack for replacement or even repair, with absolutely no avail. Thus began my search for another pack. JanSports have always stuck out in my brain, so I gave it some investigation online. Their site is comprehensive, with pictures of all their packs and capabilities and color coordinations. I found my pack of choice "A Superman Blue-Sole Survivor". My only problem was finding a store that carried this exact species of JanSport. Lucky for me, in a town close by, the sports store was able to order one for me in a week's time.
I've used this pack everyday since I got it. It stands up to amazing weights, wet floors and muddy grounds. It's hard bottom also makes it stay standing in the wet, so that the rest of the pack doesn't get wet either. The front pouch is great for a wet swimsuit, letting it partially dry and keeping everything else completely dry! The super strength, wide zippers are easy to use, and haven't gotten stuck on me once.
After my first month, one shoulder strap was coming unsewn. I went online and quickly got the information for repairing my pack. I sent my pack away, and in only two weeks time I had received my fixed pack, with noted reinforcements in extra places as well. (I had sent a note, stating I'm left-handed, therefore if any strap were to have worn out from over-use it should have been to other one... so they took that info and reinforced the left strap as an extra precaution, even though it was already sturdy!) During my pack's absence, I received messages regarding it's status (clever little postcards, as if it were at camp!)
