LoneWOlf316's Full Review: I Laughed, I Cried, I Fudged My Undies [PA] by Red...
While at a flea market in northern Wisconsin, I happened to run into this CD for $3. I picked it up thinking that I'd heard of the CD before. Well, I had, I just had never heard any of the lyrics or any of the songs. I can safely say that I'm happy with my cheap-o purchase.
This CD takes a look at the fictional life of the legendary Red Peters, a Frank Sinatra sounding crooner who loves to sing in double-entendre lyrics. We start with his mega smash hit, "Blow Me (You Hardly Even Know Me)", and we continue through his illustrious career.
About halfway through the CD, you will be singing along with toilet-mouthed Peters as he sings his way through many a dirty song (To help you memorize the lyrics faster, they have them printed into the book.). Then, tragedy strikes Mr. Peters.
Suddenly, his career starts to spiral down into a bleak pit of dispair. Soon, he's doing a remix of a song in his "mood period" with Snoof Doggy Sh*t and Sir Scrathyourassalot (I can't make this up).
Then, with the release of his song, "Little Peter", he is once again in legendary status with the fans and the critics.
Now, to help navigate us through this twisted trip through time, Red's closest friend (and former backup singer) Allen Pinchloaf gives us a slight history lesson before and after songs. So, you won't get lost (very easily, at least).
This CD is one of the most original CDs I have ever run across. Never have I seen something like this. Sure, there have been a lot of fake bands with CDs out (Fozzy, Spinal Tap, Milli Vanilli), but none of them have out an album that gives us a backstory on the artist.
Overall, loyal reader, this CD is a must own (if you can find it). It is one of the funniest CDs I own. But, like I said about Andrew Dice Clay, this thing isn't for everyone.
If you are easily offended by swearing and sexual inuendoes, then maybe you should dust off your old Bill Cosby records and ovoid this thing at all costs.
