The Glaceau Vitamin Water products have quickly become my favorite flavored water products on the market. I think Ive tried every flavor that Im willing to try so far. The dragon fruit flavor has become one of my favorites over the past few years Ive been drinking this brand of water.
Glaceau Vitamin Water comes in a plastic see through bottle with a clear, twist off cap. Its not the most perfectly designed bottle, but it works well enough and has an indentation for grip right above the halfway mark on the bottle. There is a paper wrapper around the bottom part of the bottle. The wrapper always includes some witty anecdote from the company that usually just random. I have no idea who writes this stuff but they must have a lot of spare time.
If the French, Spanish, and trekkies get to speak their own language, then so should racing fans, so in an effort to spread the word, wed like to say that by picking this up at a pit stop (convenience store) youll be running wide open (impressing the big boss) until the checkered flag is waved (its quittin time) and youre making a victory lap (snoozin on the couch).
Granted, we couldve just said this stuff has vitamin c and taurine that gives kasey kahne (the man), and you, the strength to stay in the chase (on your game), but we wanted to speak the lingo.

I happen to like these waters and the taste of each flavor is unique. The dragonfruit flavor is hard to describe. It definitely has a fruity taste and doesnt leave any kind of nasty aftertaste in my mouth. I cant really tell you what type fruits are in this, as there doesnt seem to be any one distinguishable fruit taste, it tastes more like a bunch of berries mixed together. Despite the high sugar content, this flavored water is not overly sweet tasting which is awesome because it would have totally been ruined for me. There is also a high calorie content but I dont worry about that, as I have no problem burning off calories.
My one of two complaints with this water is that I wish the company would make a sport bottle. When Im running and carrying one of these bottles, I dont want to take the time to twist off the cap, I would rather just have a squirt top like Propel offers, to make my life easier.
The other problem I have is that there is 13g of sugar in this water. Thats a lot of sugar for a bottle of water so I dont often buy this as much as I want to. Im all for just plain water and try to drink as much as I can do stay away from my bad Pepsi habit. Its good for you and much better than this dragonfruit flavored water. But I do turn to this water when I am just over the plain water and need more flavor. This water does contain a lot of Vitamins so that makes me feel a little better.
Glaceau Vitamin Water are becoming more popular and are popping up everywhere. I used to only see them available in selected grocery stores and Target, now you can find them in warehouse clubs, gas stations, drugstores, and other mass discount stores. Depending on where they are purchases and sale prices, you can get a bottle anywhere from $1.00-2.00. My local CVS store often put them on sale for 5/$5, so I usually stock up.
Glaceau Vitamin Waters are a good alternative to other flavored juices and carbonated soft drinks.
