| cmouck's Full Review: Michael MacCaskey and Bill Marken - Gardening for ... |
My husband and I just moved to a house with our first lawn. We were so excited until we realized we knew NOTHING about the shrubs and flowers and trees in our yard. I bought the Gardening For Dummies book and it saved my life!
I spent about a week just reading on soil types, what kinds of plants and flowers grow where and how to take care of them. My lawn isn't in the best shape yet, but this book has really helped me.
One thing I really liked about this book was that it is nicely divided into easy to find section. So, when I needed some advice on what to do with my climbing rose bushes, it only took me one minute to find the section and find my answer.
If gardening or the thought of gardening scares you like it did us, BUY THIS BOOK!
