I love this bathtub! After much research I found this to be the best rated tub out there. And I'll tell you why.
First of all, the design is awesome. This tub will last the first two years of your baby's life. You can lay your newborn on one end of the tub to bathe and when she is old enough to sit up on her own there is room at the opposite end for her to sit and play.
Yeah, the size is somewhat bigger than most tubs on the market, but I think that is good thing. It gives baby room to grow and the freedom to play. My baby girl is tall for her age (in the 90th percentile) and she has plenty of room to squirm about. On the flip side, the large size does make it hard to store. But I just leave it in the big bathtub. Our baby has her own bathroom so we find no reason to have to store it. A plus for us, I guess.
This tub is well made—nice hard plastic. Very durable. I really like the pearly white color too. Doesn't make for an eye sore.
I would have to say that the best feature about this tub is the hands-free part. I like not having to worry about holding onto my little girl for the entire duration of her bath. And, frankly, I do not have to hold onto her at all. Because of the tub's design I am very comfortable with this. Basically, I just put her in the tub, wash her up, sit back and watch her play. There is no stress here. Bath time is fun!
I do find the tub to drain slowly when done the proper way. But I just tip it over to drain in the big tub. It's easier and faster.
I found the price to be right too—just $25 at Burlington Coat Factory. They had plenty in stock at the store, so I did not have to buy the tub on-line and pay for shipping. However, I would have bought it on-line if it was the only place I could find it because this tub is well worth the price.
Bottom line...bath time is fun with this tub! I highly recommend it.
