Pros: Lots of fun for the child, and can be used with older toddlers as well.
Cons: Not as sturdy for transport as I would have liked to have.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this Bed Rail for anyone looking for added safety and fun for their child keeps your child under the blanket where they belong.

| tmarushia's Full Review: Elmo Fold Down Bed Rail |
This bed rail isnt supposed to be used with young toddlers or infants, or with a toddler bed or any bed without a box spring. All of the complaints that other users have had are because they arent following the manufacturers directions. Read the box! That being said..this rail is safe for older toddlers, and I havent had any problems with it. I have been using it for 1 year. The bed rail is low if you have a very thick mattress, so be sure to check if it fits your bed before you buy. The legs that go under the mattress are meant to be held in place with the boxspring, so this *cannot* be used with a toddler bed, bunk bed, or crib converted to a toddler bed. If the child leaned on it, the rail will fall out, because there isnt a box spring there to hold it in place. It cant be used for a small infant that can get trapped between the rail and the bed. This rail cant replace a crib or adult supervision. This is a great product if you used properly. It folds very compactly for travel, it fits in my largest suit case. Great for trips to grandmas! Assembly was tricky, it took 2 people about 20 minutes. A lot longer than I thought it would take.
