| dkrei's Full Review: Crystal River Kensington 9' 2 Piece Fly Fishing Ro... |
I've owned three of these rods (because I was careless and broke the first two). Kensington replaced the first two that I broke without question, so overall support of the product is very good. My particular rod is a 5-6 weight, 9' length. I started learning fly fishing with this rod and progressed for beginner to intermediate very rapidly. This is a good overall rod for a beginner to intermediate user. I've used mine for over 3 years successfully on rivers of small to large size and lakes of small to large size. Comes with an excellent protective velvet sock and very nice, sturdy metal tube. An inexpensive IM-6 graphite rod that is very good for starting your fly fishing experience. I'm in the market for a more expensive, single weight rod, but I will continue to use this rod for many years.
