I bought this bowling ball to use as a spare ball in my league, as I was tired of missing single pins. It is 15lbs and I had it drilled straight up with the pin dead center in my grip to make it go as straight as possible, as I hook the ball a lot.
From what I had read, this ball will go straight no matter what you do to it. This is mostly true as long as you aren't on dry lanes. In my experience there is a ever-so-slight back end to this ball, maybe 2 boards. Better than anything else I have used. I am now killing those spares and threw my first 250+ game last week.
This ball hits HARD!! I was amazed to see it just plow through the pins. My first game with the ball I was just throwing it down the middle and it was absolute carnage at the end. Plus I now have an excellent dry lane strike ball.
I highly recommend this ball to anyone that needs a spare ball or a dry lane conditions ball. Or to someone who just wants a bowling ball for the sake of having one. It is inexpensive and most pro shops include drilling in the price.
