Pros: It's simple, easy to install, and very cheap. ($39 at Walmart)
Cons: It's unreliable, lots of false alarms, cheaply built. It even sounds cheap.
The Bottom Line: This is a horrible waste of $40. The alarm is cheaply built, sounds like an old Nintendo, and is very unreliable. I don't trust it at all.

I bought this car alarm because I wanted something to use when I leave my car unattended while I work in the evenings. However, I found that I was more worried that the alarm would go off during work than I was about somebody stealing the car! After 10 minutes, a current-sensing alarm went off, and nothing had happened. I had left the car outside to test the alarm and it just decided to go off!
The other bad thing about this alarm is how cheap it sounds. It beeps. No no, it doesn't "chirp" like it's advertised. It beeps. Like an old Nintendo game sound or something. I think I would rather laugh at the thing than try to run away if I were trying to steal the car. Honestly, it's not a very good buy AT ALL. Very cheaply built, unreliable, there are much better systems to spend your money on than this one. I would recommend a Crime Guard system, as they seemt to work much better.
