Victim of the dreaded oily eyelid? If you've long been a member of that club, you know the search for budgeproof, creaseproof eye shadow is fairly evasive. After a thorough testing, I believe I can now report that our search troubles are (for the most part) over! BeneFit, a beauty brand with uber-cutesy product titles and packaging, has revolutionalized the creme eyeshadow craze. Brought to the fray is a shadow with staying power as well as a marvelous selection of colors.
My personal favorite is Nina's Nugget, a burnished gold that works remarkably as a base for deeper shades. As this shadow is applied with the fingertips, you're free to choose how much or little to wear. The darker shades require a light touch, unless you prefer a heavily made up eye. The light shades, such as Nina's, are extremely shimmery, especially in the sunlight.
Most importantly, creasing is a thing of the past with this shadow. It may be because the texture is slightly heavier than the average creme eyeshadow. As time goes by, the shadow does tend to harden a bit; your finger should press down into the pot and really collect a good bit of color before you attempt application. That aside, BeneFit has come up with the answer to a problem that's plagued many women for far too long.
