I have been wanting a spa for a long time. A few months ago my husband and I decided to buy one. After looking at several different lines we decided that the BEACHCOMBER line was the best. I fell in love with the overall look of the spa. We bought ours in the color denim, nine different colors are offered. We have it out in the back yard with a gazebo surrounding it. Our hot tub is well used and attractive.
The Acruralux finish
This type of finish is awesome. We have hard water here in New Mexico. Because of this things are left looking dingy and water stained. The acruralux finish has remained resiliant to the horrible water though. It is very easy to clean and very color fast. The brochure said that it gives a lifetime of beauty and durability. I will attest to that. It is also easy to clean because there is a floor drain. Very easy to empty all of the water out.
Nothing better than a wet massage
There are dozens of personalized jet positions contained in the spa. I have been in other spas where there are only one or two jets that are targeted to you. With that set up I would get out with two numb places on my body. The massage effect wasn't as thourough as the Beachcomber's. Whenever my muscles are tense and I have had a bad day I rely on my hot tub to relieve the days stresses.
Lots of room for every one
There are five seats in the tub. We have had that many at one time in the tub, but I think that three or four is the most comfortable. They used a microfilter which is smaller than other filters. This allowed for the tub to be larger than the competitiors tubs. The entry step not only adds function for easy entry and exiting, but it provides a cover for all of the inner workings, and at the same time allows for extra rom in the basin of the tub. The seats are also comfortable because they are form fitted and have large foot wells to accomodate and size person.
Freezing weather doesn't stop us from using the hot tub
The spa comes with a power smart heat shield cover. This cover is remarkable because it seals in the heat so well. There is also a heat bumper seal that aides in the heat retention capabilities. You may not think that it gets that cold in the desert, but after sun down trust me it gets pretty nippy. I never have to worry about the water being cold though. There is also an air injection motor that puts out heat to help heat the water up.
This thing is built just as well as our house
In the construction of the spa they added an I-Beam support with trusses. This is pretty much the same way that the roof of a house is built. I felt safe with the purchase because I don't have ot worry about the tub buckling with weight. Lord knows that if I keep feeding my husband that extra support may come in handy. They also incorporated glasloc 2000 which is a structural bonding process that adds strength and durability.
Highly energy efficient
In the walls of the spa there is a foam filling that is energy efficient. It saves money and energy. Along with the cover and the bumper seal the heat retention is awesome. One thing that still has me in awe is the Everlight. This light never burns out. I don't know how it works but I do know that I don't have to ever change the light bulb! Over time that can also save some money.
My spa is beautiful
As I mentioned before I chose the denim color which is a very nice shade of blue. With the finish it remains shiny even with hard water. The cabinet that holds the tub is hand crafted from western red cedar. To protect the cabinet there is a kick plate that holds the tub off of the ground. This also helps to prevent the wood from rotting. The wood is also pressure treated to protect the wood.

As much as I have used the hot tub you would think that my skin would just dissolve into the water. Water logged is not the word to describe it. I don't care though. I am a very satisfied customer, and in the future when I decide to buy bigger and better it will be from the Beachcomber line of spas.
