| MumMumMum's Full Review: Banana Boat Sooth A Caine Aloe Vera Spray Gel |
My children and I are very fair-skinned and because of that I always make sure weve applied sunscreen when outside in the sun. But sometimes MumMumMum isnt around to apply that sunscreen, and at times like that I just have to hope and pray that other adults are as quick thinking and proactive as I am. Unfortunately for my daughter there was one day this summer when that wasnt the case, and she paid the price by getting a sunburn on her shoulders and back that sent her crying home to mom! The first thing I did was run out to the store to find something to help my SoccerGirl, and thats when I discovered Sooth-A-Caine Spray Gel. Made by Banana Boat, a name Ive come to trust in sun protection products, I quickly made my purchase and hurried home.
Sooth-A-Caine Spray Gel comes in a handy spray pump bottle thats very easy to use. Just pop off the protective cap and apply the non-greasy gel to the burned area. If that area is the face then the gel should be applied to the hands first in order to spread it onto the burned facial area. I quickly and carefully sprayed some on my girls skin and gently smoothed the clear blue gel over the burned area. Sooth-A-Caine Spray Gel contains Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, as well as Lidocaine and Menthol, which provided fast relief to my SoccerGirls red and painful skin. In fact, she was amazed by how quickly she felt better. And the faster she feels better the happier I am! The Lidocaine and Menthol provide fast, temporary relief of the pain from sunburn, minor burns, and other skin irritations, and the Aloe Vera and Vitamin E help replenish the skins natural moisture and hopefully aid in healing. Sooth-A-Caine Spray Gel doesnt have an offensive smell, but you can smell the lidocaine and the menthol so if you find either irritating be forewarned.
Sooth-A-Caine Spray Gel is recommended for adults and children over the age of two. Dont apply more than 3 to 4 times daily, and of course it is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, and rinse thoroughly with water if this does get in the eyes. Do not use on blistered areas or on raw skin, and if the condition worsens or persists for more than a week then a doctor should be consulted.
SoccerGirl strongly recommends Sooth-A-Caine Spray Gel. It was a huge relief for her, and for me!
