| Joanne710's Full Review: BF Goodrich Long Trail TA Truck/SUV Tire |
I drive a Ford Expedition in Canada where the roads are NOT the greatest in the winter. The truck came with Goodyear Wranglers. After owning the truck 2 years the wranglers started to cup and oh my lord did my truck SHAKE when I got up to 90km. So we set out to find a new set of tires.
I called my brother, whom knows just about everything about cars and tires etc. He said to get BF goodrich Radials. I looked for those but they do not make them in my tire size. So I had to get the BF Goodrich Long Trail TA Radials. Right away I noticed the poor traction on Snow. I was told to buy Michelins by my Ford dealer, but we had that brand on our van a few years back and they seperated after 1 year of driving.
I will say these tires ride nice and quiet. But we will see when spring comes and the wet roads. I also paid 180.00 for each tire installed. Michelins were 224.00 installed, I was told I would just be paying for the name only. And from experience of Michelins on my Van.
BF Goodrich Tires are definely a BEEFY looking tire which I like, I also like the white outlined lettering.
