Pros: yummy, tastes exactly like "OH HENRY" chocolate bars, practical, 2 net carbs
Cons: expensive, laxative if you eat too many. not recommended for induction phase
The Bottom Line: Perfect for low-carbers, diabetics, and anyone avoiding sugar. It's the best sugarless lo-carb candy bar on the market.

| chiminou's Full Review: Atkins Endulge Caramel Nut Chew |
I can't stop eating them! (I'm having one right now as i'm typing this hehehe.)
I've tried a few atkins bars so far and liked them alright but the endulge bars are the ones I prefer the most, especially the CARAMEL NUT CHEW. It has only 2 NET carbs, 159 calories in 35 grams (the whole bar). Some low-carb candy bars kinda taste too much like splenda or maltilol also sucralose (which can be a laxative, depending on the person - beware don't eat too much of those, they put a warning on them about it too) but not this one. Even my anti-low-carb-friends agree it tastes great!
I can eat as much as 3 per day and i have no side effects hehehe.. other then bliss :)
This bar is not appropriate for the "induction phase" (first phase) of the Atkins Nutritional Approach. Although 2 carbs is minimal. I can't really understand why this bar would be a nuisance? I guess, although it has no sugar, it is still not nutritional enough and is kind of a junk food anyways(candy).
Here's the ingredient list:
chocolate coating (Maltitol, Chocolate Liquor, Cocoa Butter, Sodium Caseinate, Milk Fat, Soy Lecithin, Sucralose*, Vanillin (an artificial flavor), Vanilla, Salt), Maltitol, Peanuts, Whey Protein Isolate, Butter, Cocoa Butter, Peanut Butter, Non Fat Dry Milk, Modified Food Starch, Salt, Vanilla, Sucralose*. *Splenda ® brand non-nutritive sweetener.
I think it tastes like "oh HENRY" bars, but it's smaller (35 grams) unfortunately and a bit more expensive.. I prefer putting my money where my health is, don't you? It has the exact same consistancy as the "oh henry" bar. The caramel is soft, there are real whole peanuts and melting nouga wrapped in a thin coat of chocolate. It won't melt in your hands unless you eat very slowly or if the weather is very warm.
The packaging is nice, alumnium wrapping, bright yellow and purple. Ease to open, unlike many candy bars where you find yourself struggling for a good 5 min in order to open it!
I've been lo-carbing for over a year now. It works, I feel great and there are more and more lo-carb products on the market now, here in Canada. The atkins products are pretty expensive here too. This bar is sold 1,98$ or 27$ for a box of 15.
