Pros: Very inexpensive, perfect for low-end machines. Easy installation and setup. Cons: None, other than it lacks the perks of more expensive boards.
I have only had my system up and running for a short while, but it is performing spendidly under both Windows XP Home Edition and SUSE Linux 9.1. Processor is an Athlon XP 2500 with 2 sticks of PC3200 DDR. Onboard sound is more than adequate for the average user. My video card is a GeForce 3 64 MB, not very much for today's graphics intensive applications, but this machine is far outperforming my Athlon XP 1700 system which had the same video card.
