Apex Apex PD-10 Portable DVD Player with 5.6-in. DVD

Pros: It is a good deal. Good picture quality and sound. Very small and compact.
Cons: The player would skip sometimes and stop all together.

The Apex, was a good deal considering I bought it from Ebay for $120. There were a few times that the player would skip while playing a movie, or stop all together. Once I would turn it off and restart it, it was always play right. I even tried cleaning it. Keep in mind, I bought it used. So I don't know if I can attribute it to normal wear or poor craftsmanship.

The speakers were decent quality. The picture was very crisp. I couldn't have been more pleased. I have never used it with headphones, but I could only imagine it getting better. I would recommend it. I would just tell consumers to get an extended warranty if available.

Pros: None. Avoid this product like the plague!
Cons: Cons: I suspect that the cons are running the company.

Bought this product as a gift for my son. It worked for about a month. Now it will not even load a disk most of the time. On the rare occasion it finally does load the disk, it will not run for more than 20 minutes without failing. I would stay away from any product from this company.
Technical support is worthless. "Send it to the manufacturer. For 80 bucks we might fix it, might not. But you will get to dump another 80 bucks into our toilet."
