The most dangerous top ten list ever!

Give me leather wearing, dirty, boozed up, sleazy rock and roll stars that know how to turn up their amps to 10 until ear drums start bursting and I raise my fist in the salute that is rawk and roll, comon! The following CDs are my personal favorites of all time in the history of rock! Now, you will probably notice that most of these CDs are at least 10 years old -- is it just me, or does the modern generation of rockers just mediocre????
You may beg to differ, but here is my list... top 10 rock albums:
10. RATT, "RATT'N'ROLL" --Ratt's "greatest hits" CD. That's right--I like RATT. Pure bubblegum hard rock, but with songs like "Round and Round", "You Think You're Tough", you just can't go wrong! Warren Dimartini is amazing on the guitar! My friends all laugh at me when I expose myself as a RATT fan...hmmmmm.
9. RPLA, "RPLA" -- ever heard of these guys? Probably not-- they put out one album and then vanished, I think. This CD is good hard driving rock! Great songs, and the singer sounds alot like Ian Astbury (of the Cult). A good party CD.
8. IGGY POP, "LUST FOR LIFE" -- Iggy's best album. My favorite track is "Passenger"-- man, how I love that song! I love the way this man sings.
7. WARRIOR SOUL, "THE SPACEAGE PLAYBOYS" -- what a freaking ROCK album! I'm a big fan of the Space Age Playboys, and this was the singer Corey Klarke's previous band... They put out 5 albums, and the first 4 all were lame, but THIS ONE ROCKS SO HARD, I CANNOT BELIEVE IT! I've been playing this CD alot, and been raving about it to all my friends-- you GOTTA CHECK IT OUT! And Warrior Soul are reforming for a reunion tour! Yeah!
6. 1. THE CULT, " THE CULT "-- Man, how I love this CD! I've only had it the past two months, but I play it almost every day! Did I tell you how awesome Ian Astbury is? The man can sing...this is the Cult's best album--definitely!
5. KEITH RICHARDS, "MAIN OFFENDER" -- Keith's second solo album. I loved the first one, but this one is even better! Straight ahead rockers throughout, with Keith's signature riffs! How I love it, how I love it so! "999" is the standout track. Keith Richards is the number one rock star, y'know...
4. ROLLING STONES, "EXILE ON MAIN STREET" --The Stones best album. They really mix it up on this one, almost every song is a gem, especially "Tumbling Dice", and "Happy". Definitely the Stones album to own, if you can have just one...
3. SPACE AGE PLAYBOYS, "American Super rock"...okay, I got this bootleg CD, I don't think this has really been released yet except in Europe, but let me tell you it is HOT! I've been playing it over and over, David Bowie/Ziggy Stardust inspired glam/punk with Ramones buzzsaw guitars...Killer! This band features Korey Clarke from Warrior Soul. HOT! You'll be hearing about this band...
2. RAMONES, "ADIOS AMIGOS" -- the Ramones farewell album (boo hoo)...what a great production, it blows me away every time I listen to it. My favorite Ramones album, and they have so many good ones. Excellent.
1. RAMONES, "RAMONES MANIA" --their "greatest hits" CD, chock full of Ramones classics. Alot of good rock'n'roll here! What can I say, the Ramones are my fave band-- they changed my life (for the better?) Joey Ramone is a rock idol, yes sir.
And of course, if I could include just one more CD with me on that desert island, it would have to be my own solo album PAUL DIAMOND BLOW & the Ace Diamond Bimbos "Wang Dang Sweet Thunder of Rock!"... of course, you've probably never heard of it, but it sounds like a mix of Ramones, KISS, and Motorhead (my top 3 fave bands)... you'll have to take my word for it! (shameless self-promotion!)
