After reading jiwhite's review of Häagen Dazs Limited Edition Cinnamon flavor I had to go out and track a pint down for myself. Unfortunately I was on my way to dinner with my whole family, so I had to share! What a scrumptious adventure, really! My only complaint is that it's not going to be around forever (I plan on stock piling as much as I can get my hands on.)
Being on a cinnamon kick lately (I don't like mint, so I stick to cinnamon gum, Altoids, etc.): using it in my coffee, burning it for incense, sprinkling it on desserts, and more, I couldn't resist this new addition to my craze. In true Häagen Dazs fashion, they've created a creamy delight that leaves only good tastes lingering. With a subtle flavor you won't be overwhelmed (it's not spicy like red-hots can be). Made with only the essential ingredients (all natural) it isn't bogged down with preservatives and artificial junk.
This ice cream is great with coffee, tea (maybe a chai!), hot pie, or straight out of the container (my first choice). Just remember that it won't be around forever!
