Aiwa - a system that rocks!

by skyrydr Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Oct 24 '00
Pros: Well designed system
Cons: speakers could be better
This Aiwa system is worth the money and puts out a very decent sound. Mine has been working without a problem for two years now and find it to be worth the money. The functionality of the system is very good. The dials are easy to read and the selections...

Aiwa CX-ZL10 for the non expert

by DavidWeisman , May 10 '00
Pros: Great price, good system
Cons: beats me, a more experienced ear might find some
If you know a great deal about different stereo systems and want to compare this one, my experience may not be that much help to you since I'm not an expert. This is more for someone who is not an expert on music or sound and wants to buy a stereo that...

Little Box, Big BOOM!

by AndrewCip , May 13 '00
Pros: Small, excellent sound, remote control, MiniDisc recorder, price!
Cons: None!
For this price, you don't get a sound like this with any other stereo system. This 150 dollar stereo has the sound quality of stereos you can see at the stores going for $300 +!

THE LOOK:

The Aiwa CDS-MD50 has a great look to it...

Looking for a Durable Stereo?

by millin , Aug 31 '00
Pros: Durable, good sound, doesn't take up much space
Cons: None really

I purchased this AIWA primarily because of the way it looked. For some reason it seemed sturdier than the others...it wasn't made of cheap metal or plastic like the majority of the mini-systems you see these days. I don't think I even bothered to...

MINI KABOOM

by k0jak , Mar 23 '00
Pros: Great booming sound
Cons: nothing
This is a great piece of electronics for anyone who loves listening to quality sound. This tiny sleek box doesn't take up much space but makes up for that in sound quality. Its got a bunch of features but the main thing I care about is the quality...

crystal clear

by plumcrazzzee , Sep 28 '00
Pros: small in size, handles volume well, remote features
Cons: programming in every little thing on the remote
I'm just a chic, as my ex-husband would say, and since he was the one who essentially picked out this stereo, I'll give him the credit. He is in a professional band, and owns a recording studio, so I figured he knew what he was talking about when he...

Pros: Small Size, good pricing, and depending on where you buy it, you get a $200 portable MD player for FREE!
Cons: Two words: WEAK ASS. Needs a lot more bass.
Well, I thought this thing was quite awesome. It looks great and perfectly matches a lot of the intereor decor of my apartment. I liked the fact that it came with the free portable MD player, which I gave to my girlfriend because I have an Aiwa AM-F70...

Aiwa CD's unreliability

by cooker000 , Oct 05 '00
Pros: Crisp clear sound and reception
Cons: Faulty CD pick-up assembly
Cons- I worked at an Audio repair shop and most of the stuff that came through were broken Aiwa multi-component CD players. Although they look sleek, the mechanism that reads and tracks the CDs often is the first thing that breaks. This problem is...
