Make sur e you have the 24 bit version

Pros: Detailed sound
Cons: Marginally less warm than competitors
This machine was first launched as an 18 bit model, then a 20, and finally the 508-24. It's possible to have the earlier machines upgraded, and that's quite a cheap way to buy them: get them second hand, then pay to have the new card put in.
