Pros: great functionality, good software, only difference you'll notice is price
Cons: what, on this product?
The Bottom Line: Great product, great price, greate functionality, without any compromises, would have been nice to get one with a black face cover to match my case. Trivial, overstated, but true

I'm going to make this short and sweet, as I've seen way too many lengthy reviews on items as simple as headphones.
Basically as this purchase proves, CD-RW technology has hit a wall. There is just nothing you can do to improve a technology that is already maxed out. Aside from increasing a buffer size for the writer, which you'll likely see no difference from, they can only make a pretier box. Well knowing that technology is maxed out on this item, who cares if you get a name brand. They all function identically, and many times include the same software. In buying an off brand you do your self a favor with no negative consequences. I've just burned my first two full length cd's in roughly 2.5 minutes each. I'm sure I'll see as many years out of this product as I have my 4x writer, which is still going strong 4 years and many cd's later. Do yourself a favor and save some cash
